Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of lockedinparis.com and your purchase of a Locked in Paris ceremony. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Locked in Paris is a personalized ceremony service: we engrave a premium heart padlock with the two first names (and optional date) you provide, lock it by hand on the Pont des Arts in Paris, film the ceremony, and drop the keys into the river Seine. You receive your keepsakes: an HD ceremony video, a personalized Certificate of Love with a unique QR code, and the GPS coordinates of your lock.

• Delivery normally happens within 48 hours of your order (up to 72 hours during busy periods).
• The padlock itself remains on the bridge and is not sent to you.

2. Personalization

You are responsible for the spelling of the names and date you submit. Please double check them before paying. They are engraved exactly as written. If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately at lockedinparis.contact@gmail.com; we can correct it as long as the engraving has not been made.

We may refuse names or messages that are offensive, infringing or unlawful, with a full refund.

3. The bridge

We place every padlock respectfully and record its exact position. Paris authorities periodically clear railings of the Pont des Arts; this is outside of our control. Your purchase is for the ceremony and its keepsakes. The video, certificate and coordinates are yours forever, whatever later happens to the physical railing.

4. Your content and license

You receive a personal, non-commercial license to view, download and share your ceremony video and certificate. We may use anonymized ceremony footage (without your full names) to present our service; email us if you prefer we do not.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where available and charged at checkout. Payment is processed by our secure checkout provider. We may change prices at any time; the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.

6. Refunds

Our satisfaction promise and cancellation rules are described in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for events outside our reasonable control (weather, closures, authority decisions, force majeure). We will always reschedule your ceremony if such an event delays it.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of New Mexico, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
